Optional insulation for those extremely cold or hot climates – Thermal-Ply Radiant Barrier: Thermal-Ply blocks radiant energy in both summer and winter conditions. It blocks as much as 93% of radiation (summer heat gain) and 50% to 70% of winter heat loss through the ceiling and roof. The floor, ceiling and side walls are all insulated. To ensure long term duarbility from chewing and clawing, the sidewall insulation is protected by a lightweight mahogany plywood liner.

Our mats are dust free, anti-fungal, have no dyes or colors, and are hypo-allergenic. They are approximately 1 ¼” thick with an R-Value of 75!!

Completely waterproof, our pet mats provide an efficient moisture barrier on a dog or cat house floor, and also serves as an effective birthing mat.

Your unit will be approximately 26″ tall, with a trunk approximately 3″ in diameter and a base approximately 8″ wide by 3 1/2″ thick. There are felt pads on the base protect your floors. The feather toys will sway and turn with the slightest air movement. If you place the scratcher where there is some air movement your kitty won’t be able to resist it.

And, this scratcher has a mouse hole with mouse! Well, a ping pong ball that acts like a mouse. When your kitty probes in the 6″ deep hole for the ball it rolls up and away, then when she removes her paw from the mouse hole the ball comes back with a “pong” sound. The ball “mouse” can not be removed from its hole. Your cats will be fascinated by it and will not tire of trying to capture it. Your cats will love this scratcher with critters!

It has been shaped, scraped, and hand sanded smooth yet retains its natural appearance. There are interesting contours and textures for your cats scratching pleasure. And cats can really dig their claws into this scratcher. Eastern red cedar is a perfect scratching medium for cats. The creamy wood is hard enough for satisfying scratching yet not so hard as to splinter and stick in the cats paws. The red heart and knot wood is very fragrant and the reason eastern red cedar is also known as aromatic red cedar.

We think you will love this unique scratcher for its natural beauty and wonderful scent and might even think it a shame to let the cats scratch it up. But the cats will love it for being a tree and boring textile.
